The DreadMill

Its been a while since I paid homage to the Dreadmill. With the running track at work, even my dreadmill had become a repository for pants and towels. Work had other plans for me today, and I didn’t get a chance to the hit track. So, I knocked off the pants and towels and cat and powered up the beast again. Today was just a simple Endurance run up to zone 3. 5.3 miles in 50 minutes. Followed it up with 150 sit ups and 50 push-hups. Not a bad night.

That is until I went into the kitchen and the kids had left all of their Easter Candy strewn about next to their half eaten cheese pizzas. Talk about a trap! Lets just say that I took care of the mess.

I heard back from the guys at the Grizzly Triathlon today. Looks like I’m now number 38 on the waiting list. The director thinks I still have a great shot at racing this weekend. More info tomorrow.
