Bitterroot. It Goes Fast.

This morning, this sign up for the Bitterroot Classic Triathlon opened at 8:00 Mountain time. As I was wide awake at conference on the east coast, and after my debacle with the signing up for the Grizzly Triathlon, I made sure I was ready and waiting with credit card in hand for this one.

And good thing. I signed up at 8:05, and by that time 1/3 of the spots were gone. And this is no Ironman. This is straight forward sprint 750m/20k/5k. I guess this is what happens though in a state with few races and active people.

Feel pretty good about this on in Missoula. Proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald house, and I always welcome a way to support them without increasing my cholesterol 20 points.
