Marathon Runner Tears Cancer A New One

Remember all those excuses you have for not running a marathon? You know, like “I’m too busy” or “my knees cant take it.” Well, I wouldn’t share them with Brian Fugere. The 47 year old patient, diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, ran and entire 26.2 mile marathon, within a hospital, all while clutching his IV pole.

In addition to setting an example, Brian also raised 42,000 for cancer research.
