Week 2: Cleaning The Drainer
After one rest day, I’m back at it. Started off week 2 today with time on the drainer. Tonight’s plan of attack was a one hour ride at zone 3 at about 160 watts. Thrown into the mix was 3 x 8 minutes at Zone 4-5, or 190-205 watts, with a 2 minute rest in between.
Needless to say, that hurt a bit. My legs are still feeling a little drained, so it was some rough going. No power numbers tonight, as I cant find my watch charger for the life of me. I have a feeling its lying under a bed in Calgary….
Followed that up with a brick run (ie run right after the bike…like stacking bricks) of 15 minutes. Felt great during the run. Looks like the blister is doing well.
One day at a time. Tomorrow out with the cycling team for some more pain.
