Flux Capacitor..Fluxing…@ 206 Watts

Thanks MJFox

Its that time again! Break out the vomit buckets and toilet paper cuz its time to test. You know the drill, measure your fitness with a 40 minute time trial divided into 20 min on, 2 min off, and 20 min back on. PNorm power for the entire debacle is the current Functional Threshold Power, or the point where I go from aerobic to anerobic metabolism. Last test back in November was 200 watts, which was slightly down from my race PNorm of 203 earlier in the summer.

Well, lets see the damage:

And the numbers:
Entire workout (204 watts):
Duration: 42:00
Work: 514 kJ
TSS: 71.6 (intensity factor 1.017)
Norm Power: 206
VI: 1.01
Pw:HR: 4.26%
Pa:HR: 4.75%

Min Max Avg
Power: 0 264 204 watts
Heart Rate: 128 176 162 bpm
Cadence: 37 117 85 rpm
Crank Torque: 0 292 203 lb-in

Ladies and gents, I’m now at an all time high FTP of 206. Since starting with the PowerTap system and WKO back on 1/5/10, Ive increased my power output by 28%; another testament of the power system and the Endurance Nation training. I’m already at a higher level of cycling fitness than I was at CDA in 2009 with 6 months to go. No rest for the weary though. Tomorrow, 5k test!
