Calm Before The Storm: 13 hours

Hopefully my next picture at this spot will be with a medal!

A calm has begun to settle over Coeur d’Alene. Transition is full now. No more horribly ugly compression socks walking up and down Sherman Avenue.  I’m about to meet up with some friends for a light dinner. I had a great day out with the family and my sanity fortunately.

Lots more bags than prior.

I can’t believe I’m at this point again, and there is only one way to describe tonight: awesome. No matter what happens tomorrow, I’m happy at least to be here and start that swim in a little over 13 hours.

Okay Van Fans, I’m off. Hopefully the next major post from me will be after an exhilarating 140.6 miles. Don’t forget you can track me live at this link with my bib number of 1148. Thanks for your support everyone!
